Richard had such weird dreams, some goddesses spearing fish, and they were spearing him! His brothers were laughing, telling him he needed to wash up, get in the river, and catch a big one with his bare hands.
“What did you do with my clothes?” Richard pleaded.
“You were moaning and grinding in your sleep. I believed it was best to keep your clothes clean for the trip. You definitely sacked out. It is your turn to learn to swim.”
“I’m good, thanks. Now give me my clothes.”
“Learning without clothes is perfect, especially mid-morning. Nobody is outside, and you don’t need to catch a fish. I want you to dunk your head underwater and hold your breath until you come up,” James said.
Richard shrugged the sleepiness off and walked into the water. Yikes! That was cold! Shivering, he did what he was told, holding his breath.
“You see, once you get wet, it doesn’t feel as cold?” James stated.
