See, that picture you have, I would consider it cluttered. Why have two tables when one is fine. And what is that thing on the right? Is it a chair, a table?

Whatever!

People think of that picture as a decluttered perfection, but I see it as plants that need to be watered, or they start losing their leaves, a dusting and vacuuming catastrophe because those drapes are dust magnets and the rug will show dirt. Why two blankets and so many pillows?

I know this is not your picture. I surround myself with a little clutter sometimes, but when I am sharing a room with someone else, I hate clutter and try to put everything away somewhere so that the surfaces are easier to clean.
