It used to be that I would come on Medium most evenings, reading the posts, articles, and poetry of my followers. In between reading, commenting, clapping, highlighting, my attention span started to whittle down. I was on this game, Big Farm Game that I had on my phone, every day. Multiple hours a day. And I had a book to write.

My Time Escaped Through the Obsession of the Game
I started playing the game when a friend asked me to do so. She needed more people on her team. I joined up and started playing. The playing time lasted for over a year and a half. The game is one of these never-ending sagas where it is always sunny and the plants grow fast.
Not real life.
But it turned evil, and banned me as I was trying to help a friend.
I couldn’t get on it one day and it was that day that I decided to wash my hands of it. Rip off the band-aid, and stop playing games on my phone.
